It's Earth Day and it's Compost Giveaway time!

Recent images from the Artemis II mission gave us a powerful perspective of Earth: small, vibrant, and living against the vastness of space. It's a good reminder that what we do here at home really matters.

In Canmore, one simple way to reduce our impact on the climate is to keep food waste out of the landfill. Composting reduces greenhouse gas emissions and turns scraps into something useful.

To celebrate our community's efforts of turning food scaps into soil, we're excited to offer our 6th annual Community Compost Giveaway on May 12 and 13. The event and compost is free, but pre-registration is required.
