On another note…a book I have been waiting for all summer has arrived. The fiftieth and final book by Pierre Berton. In this he returns to the North to chronicle the extraordinary stories of five inspiring and controversial characters “whose desire for adventure exceeded their instinct to survive.”

Here are our sweet grandsons - Cameron (4) and Leo (2).
I love that they are together and having so much fun with each other. One lives in Calgary and the other in Victoria. Our daughters are quite adamant they see other often and this makes my heart happy.
We have a beautiful granddaughter too - she is not so much into posing for photos but she is visiting us very soon and I shall be a sneaky Nanny and get a few pics! We cannot wait to see the crew from Calgary! 🥰🍦🍦🍦
