Today during another Test Bake Day we took one of my favourite comfort recipes — my mom’s classic shortbread — and gave it a fresh little summer twist with a strawberry lemon glaze 🍓🍋

Everyone meet our newest addition… The Strawberry Lemonade Cookie ☀️

There’s something so special about mixing nostalgia with new ideas. I’ve been loving spending more time exploring recipes in the kitchen lately. It brings me so much joy… although my jeans may not fully support this new hobby 😂

The hardest part of Test Bake Days is pretending these are “for research” and not eating 6 of them while standing at the counter with a coffee.

These ones might just need a permanent spot around here.

Thank goodness this man loves playing on tractors because the garden got tilled before the lawn got cut 🌱
