On May 23, 2011, a great journey began for Baker Design Déco Surfaces. With passion, determination, and a clear vision, we opened the doors of our very first location on Main Street in Casselman. At the time, our showroom was only 800 square feet, but our dreams were already much bigger.
From day one, our mission was simple: to offer quality products, personalized service, and an outstanding customer experience. Thanks to the trust and support of our community, families, contractors, designers, and everyone who chose Baker Design over the years, the company experienced tremendous growth throughout Eastern Ontario.
Over the years, we have had the privilege of being part of your flooring, kitchen, and bathroom projects in many surrounding towns and communities — including Casselman, Embrun, Limoges, Alexandria, Cornwall, Hawkesbury, Rockland, Ottawa, and many more.
In 2013, we reached a major milestone with the construction of our current location. This project represented much more than an expansion — it was proof that our company was establishing itself as a strong and trusted name in the region. Today, our showroom exceeds 10,000 square feet and continues to inspire thousands of renovation and construction projects across Eastern Ontario.
In 2019, we proudly joined the Déco Surfaces banner, allowing Baker Design to offer even more choice, inspiration, and products to our loyal customers, while maintaining the family values and warm service that have defined us since the very beginning.
As we celebrate 15 years of history, we want to sincerely thank everyone who has contributed to this incredible journey.

We would also like to thank all former employees who helped shape the history of Baker Design, as well as our current team, whose passion, dedication, and professionalism continue to make our company what it is today.
A very special thank you goes to Lisette, who has been with us since the very beginning in 2011. Your dedication, loyalty, and hard work are truly part of the DNA of Baker Design. After 15 years, you continue to be an essential part of our family.
Fifteen years later, we look back with tremendous pride and gratitude. What started as a small showroom on Main Street has become a well-established and continuously growing business serving communities across Eastern Ontario.
