ANNOUNCEMENT TO OUR CUSTOMERS:

After a bit of a break from running our business and several weeks of considering relocation options, we regret to announce that sadly, Kootenay Floral has made the decision to close permanently.

Our decision did not happen overnight. As owners, Todd and I have been discussing and hoping to retire for a few years now as most of our regular customers know. The building and business had been listed to sell for some time. This fall, the building sold but the business did not. We hoped to have a family member continue running the flower shop, in a suitable new location, but plans fell through with this.

We would like to thank all our customers who made us as successful as we were these past 12 years under this management and team. We have experienced so many emotions with this business from beautiful weddings and births, unfortunate sympathies, happy graduations, illnesses, pet losses, new homes, holidays and “ just because” times. Let’s not forget the extremely busy holidays! Flowers do have the remarkable ability to comfort and brighten any occasion. We are so blessed to have had you make us a part of your special moments in life.

Our designers will miss creating beautiful and long lasting arrangements and seeing and meeting so many wonderful people by phone or in person.

We appreciate your support. We will miss you. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. 💜
