hiiiiiii everyone —
the past month following the purchase of the future home of Sel et Shomphe (bookstore / stationary shop !!) has brought on so many emotions and challenges — but it’s been SOOO exciting!!!! after months of paperwork, phone calls, waiting…, inspections, and more waiting every bit of progress has been rewarding!!
the property i purchased is the original Shomphe homestead (my Pépère grew up here!!!). it’s so cool to not only have it back in the family, but also to have it house my dream project.
so thankful for the work crew and everyone who’s kept this project moving along while ive been getting the bills paid lobster fishing. (i seriously feel like im thanking someone every five minutes lollllll)
lots left to do but it’s all starting to feel so real!
