Made the trip to Halifax to deliver another boler. The first photo is in front of Confederation Bridge, at 12.9km it's the longest bridge in the world crossing ice-covered water and stands as one of Canada's greatest engineering achievements.
This boler has been in the same family all its life. It hasn't missed a camping season in 46 years. In that time it has been well loved and maintained. It showed by the great shape it was in when it arrived. The family has every intention to keep making memories in this little boler for another 46 years. They knew that if that was going to happen, it was time to replace the original frame and up grade to the all aluminum Old Skool Welding frame.
I am so happy that this family chose me "Old Skool Welding" for this project. I was able to have a conversation with them to understand their needs prior to assembling their frame. With this information I am able to customize the configuration and build the frame to suit.
With this frame the owners added the extended tongue to accommodate a storage box and single propane tank mount, bumper mounted spare tire mount, frame mounted license plate holder with LED light, and frame mounted hide away stabilizer jacks. They also upgraded the axle at this time with a Dexter Torflex 2200. This boler is ready to role with confidence for another 46 years.
Old Skool Welding is always taking orders and does a cross Canada trip once a year for deliveries, so if you are considering a new frame even if you are not in eastern Canada feel free to reach out with any questions 902-316-2467
