We took the old fashioned ice cream man tricycle, modernized its back end with 7 gears and e-assist. Better late than never!?!

Then we tore the front end down to the studs and built a gift shop on there! Our trike will fit through a regular sized door so we can go almost anywhere! Our trike will fit through a regular sized door so we can go just about anywhere! Trike of a Bike Gifts & Decor was founded in early 2024 by Jeff MacDougall. Originally from Dartmouth, Jeff moved away with his family at the age of 9 and only returned to Dartmouth in 2022, after 35 years away. A generalist manager type by training and experience, Jeff has wanted to own his own business since he was 12 years old, but never did. What we believe in: Hard work, diversity, delighting our customers, honesty, empathy, doing the right thing, saying what we will do and then doing it, contributing to our community, working safely, obeying the law, acting ethically, other things as well – to be updated as we go :)

I packed up my tricycle and ran (basically for my life) to Charlottetown. The story in and around it, is one that I believe should be told someday.

Guess what? We are here at Fisherman's Cove for their Pirate Days Festival! And for the first 15 customers who spend over $20.00 with us today will receive a pirate themed frame! (Normally $10.00!)

Hosted by IFCNS - Indian Festivals Club of Nova Scotia, we are honoured to be attending and supporting the IFCNS in their mission to share their culture with Nova Scotia.

We are all packed up and ready to pedal our wares with new friends at The Mom Market Collective Inc. Halifax - “Jingle in July” Sunday 12 to 5 at Mic Mac Mall. Come check us out? Along with 40 other local vendors, face painting, and more! (Great air conditioning!!)

We will be bringing the most tricked out trike setup yet; loaded with artisanal pieces from talented artists in the region, some of our new trike-shop made products, and a few thoughtfully curated imports.

Putting Christmas lights on the tricycle was harder than anticipated 😐
