✂️ TUESDAY TIP: FUSSY CUTTING! ✂️

Did you know that Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Papers often include beautiful focal-point images that coordinate with dies to make cutting them out a breeze? 🌸

But what if you don’t have the coordinating dies? No worries! You can FUSSY CUT them! ✂️

🤔 What is fussy cutting?
It’s simply cutting out an image by hand using scissors!

Here are two tips to help you get great results:

✂️ Tip #1: Use the right scissors!
Keep one pair of scissors exclusively for cutting paper and another pair just for ribbon. This helps keep your scissors sharp and ready for the job!

✂️ Tip #2: Let the paper do the moving!
When cutting around curved edges, keep your dominant hand relatively steady and make small snips with your scissors. Use your other hand to slowly turn and move the paper as you cut. This helps create smoother, more rounded edges!

🌸 Give it a try! You might be surprised at how easy it is to turn those beautiful DSP images into gorgeous focal points for your cards!
