Ensuite Reveal ✨

Another beautiful custom ensuite from Ewald Homes is complete—and this one is packed with thoughtful details from floor to ceiling.

The ensuite features 24” x 24” RoyaleStone tile from Eben Floors, with a matte finish on the floor and a textured finish on the walls, while maintaining the same beautiful colour throughout.

The custom shower features a 0-barrier flush transition with an envelope-cut floor, creating a clean, seamless look. Underfoot, we installed in-floor heating, controlled by a digital programmable Wi-Fi thermostat—because warm floors are one of those little luxuries you never want to give up.

The beautiful custom vanity was made locally by Windmill Cabinet Shop, and the ensuite connects to a large walk-in closet finished with wide-plank white oak flooring from Kentwood Floors.

And just when you thought we were finished… we also supplied and installed Canadian-made window coverings from Maxxmar Window Fashions. 🇨🇦

From tile and heated floors to custom cabinetry, hardwood and window coverings, Owen Flooring helped bring all the finishing details together.

All of this inside the latest Ewald Homes custom ensuite.

Designed beautifully. Finished properly. Built to last.

It doesn’t start out looking like this.

An incredible mudroom with a custom dog wash starts long before the beautiful tile goes in.

It starts with a quality builder, skilled framer and experienced tradesmen. And it finishes with a tile setter who understands that what happens underneath the tile is just as important as what you see on top.

For this custom dog wash, we waterproofed using Flextile 900 HydroBloc with embedded fabric — a Canadian-made waterproofing system designed to provide waterproofing along with crack-isolation and uncoupling properties.

Why does that matter?

Because tile needs a stable foundation. Proper waterproofing and crack-isolation help manage movement in the substrate, helping reduce the potential for cracked tile and grout over time.

Some people just want to show you the beautiful finished tile.

We want to show you the quality underneath it.

Because at Owen Flooring, quality isn’t just what you see. It’s what’s built beneath it.

🥩 It’s not only a fantastic steakhouse… it has fantastic floors too.

Take a look around Churrascaria in Chatham and you’ll see how the right flooring can completely define a space.

From the warm, wood-look flooring throughout the dining room to the eye-catching patterned tile at the entrance, the floors play a huge role in creating the restaurant’s rich, welcoming atmosphere.

And that’s exactly what we love about flooring at Owen Flooring Design Centre — it’s not just something you walk on. It’s part of the design.

Whether you’re renovating a restaurant, retail space, office or your home, we can help you find flooring that looks incredible and stands up to the demands of the space.

Fantastic steak. Fantastic atmosphere. Fantastic floors.
