On my last day here at the Thrift Shop I wanted to drop a note to express how much I have enjoyed working with the amazing volunteers that make this place the best thrift shop around. Their dedication to this community and improvements to our local health care system astounds me. It has been a great pride and joy to be a part of it. These photos are of my first day, 6 years ago, and my last day, today. If you are interested in joining a wonderful organization that donates hundreds of thousands of dollars every year to better your community you couldn't find a better place. The new manager Michelle and assistant manager Lynne are committed to continuing my motto here “if we aren't having fun we are doing it wrong” The whole auxiliary is also grateful to everyone who has donated items to this cause. Without you we couldn't do what we do. Keep up the good work Chemainiacs! Together we can make this world a better place. Our manager, Jade is moving on. She's been with us 6 wonderful years and is now heading off to adventures in Hawai'i. We gave her a farewell party this morning and wish her well.
