I was asked by my sister in law if there was any way of saving this beautiful antique corner shelf last year, found in an old log outbuilding on their property. Sadly a lot of the wood was too far gone, however this doesn't mean it can't be! A replica shelf was built using bit and pieces that were still save-able from the original shelf

It's all in the details, this little wedding ring box still has some sanding and some last finishing touches yet to go, angles and mitres are everything when it comes to fine detail work

P.s. ignore the ugly carpenter hands 🤣😅 and also side note oak is one of my favorite woods, it has the most amazing grain and I also love mature oaks as they stand in nature they are a sight to be seen
