Staff Profile:
We thought it would be good to introduce you to a few of the people you will meet at The Shops on Central one at a time.

Joanne has been involved with Bonny Lea Farm for many years. She is always interested in trying new things and has often been a positive and vocal advocate for wheelchair users. Her advocacy resulted in our purchasing our very first accessible minivan.

The past few months for Joanne have been busy. For years Joanne shared her home with her friends Catherine and Jan. With the opening of our two new homes, Joanne chose to move to a new home, which offers fully accessible barrier-free living for her.

Our renovations at The Shops on Central were not only cosmetic - they made it more accessible with an automatic door opener, wider passageways and an accessible service counter. With these changes, Joanne also recently began working at The Shops on Central serving customers.

Back to school already! That can be expensive, so our thrift store is having a back-to-school twoonie sale. All kids and youth clothing is $2! Seriously! $2! Did you see that Columbia jacket and Avia shoes? $2!
