One of the most frustrating parts of playing lefty is traveling to another country. I am living for a few months in Mexico right now and the stores here have crappy lefties if they have them at all. I will not even get started with the fact that they are hung on walls without even attempting to tune the them or set them up.

These two beauties I had Ed set up and the guitar is souped up with Fury parts. Ed, I can't thank you enough for the ability to play guitar and bass properly down here.

After the injury, as many of you know, I had to switch to playing left-handed. Adding insult to injury, I found that my right shoulder could not handle the weight of a heavy bass so for the last couple of years I sat when I played. I ordered this left-handed Steinberger for its weight, not for any other reason. It took over 14 months to get here. Adding insult to injury, it sounded horrible! My musical partner at the time suggested I use the other bass (my Fury) since it sounded so much better. I had a talk with Ed (Fretter Guitars) and he was kind enough to outfit the bass with two old Fury pickups he still had and Fury pots. He then set the whole bass up beautifully.

Thanks to his work, I successfully played a 12 song set on stage with the bass hung over my shoulder and it sounded great.

Ed, I can't thank you enough!
