The shelves are full again 🌿✨

We’ve been busy behind the scenes pouring, curing, wrapping, and restocking the shelves at Kilby Historic Site with fresh handmade goods and a few new varieties have officially joined the shelves.

Every item here was crafted by hand in small batches using herbal infused oils, time, and tradition.

There’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing the shelves filled again after weeks of making.

New varieties, fresh restocks, and some seasonal favourites are now available while quantities last.

Not all skincare starts the same. 🌿

Some products begin in fluorescent labs and production facilities. Ours begin outside in the soil, under the mountain views, surrounded by rows of herbs grown on our Chilliwack family farm.

We choose slower methods, seasonal ingredients, and hands on craftsmanship over mass production. Because we believe what touches your skin should come from a place of care, not conveyor belts.

Every bar we make begins long before the soap mold.

It starts in the garden…
with herbs grown by hand, flowers harvested in season, and oils slowly infused over time.

No shortcuts. No pre-made bases.
Just slow-crafted botanical soap rooted in tradition and made with intention.

This is a small glimpse into what happens behind the scenes here at Magnolia Grove Botanicals, from the soil to the final bar.

Most commercial soap isn’t really soap. 🧼

The natural glycerin is often removed and replaced with synthetic additives, detergents, and fillers designed for shelf life and mass production.

Our soap is different.

Each bar is slow crafted from raw oils, botanicals, and time; retaining the naturally occurring glycerin your skin actually benefits from. 🌼

“Natural” doesn’t always mean what it seems.

Many soaps are made from pre-made bases with fragrance added afterward.
We begin from scratch.

Our herbs are infused into olive oil for 4–6 weeks, allowing time to gently extract their beneficial properties; not just their colour. 🌿

If the ingredient list reads like a chemistry lab, your skin likely won’t recognize it either.

We keep our ingredients simple, purposeful, and fully understood.

Large scale production prioritizes speed.
We prioritize the process; because real soap takes time.
