🐢🐬 This week’s Thrifty Find takes us under the sea!

This vintage pair of hand-carved desert ironwood sculptures features a sea turtle and dolphin, each showcasing the rich, dark grain and smooth finish characteristic of this dense hardwood. The turtle’s patterned shell and the dolphin’s streamlined shape make for an especially striking pair.

This week’s Thrifty Find of the Week caught our eye with its striking combination of glass and art!

This decorative glass piece features a stylized animal design etched into a thick, green-tinted glass panel, displayed on a substantial glass base. The textured, irregular edges give the piece an almost hand-crafted appearance and make the etched design stand out beautifully.

We don’t know the artist, maker or story behind this intriguing find, so perhaps one of our knowledgeable thrifters can help us learn more. What can you tell us about it?
