The secret to capturing bright colors and rich textures in our Color By Amber interlayers is in our Ecoresin. Made from PETG, our Ecoresin has uniquely high clarity and durability. PETG comes from the same family as PET, the primary material used in water bottles. Our Ecoresin is up-cycled from 40% pre-consumer products, giving a permanent home to what others thought were temporary materials. The other 60% is pure copolyester. That means that not only is it environmentally friendly, but as a BPA-free material it’s very safe much like cosmetic, food and medical packaging.
