We just finished top dressing our garlic beds with wood chip mulch & 🐎 horse manure.
We planted our garlic a couple of weeks ago and it hasn't rained here in almost a month.
You must water after planting garlic or no water no growth. It will just sit dormant until adequate moisture is provided. One more reason I would be reluctant to plant my garlic to late in the season. All seeds including garlic needs warmth, sunlight and moisture to germinate and start growing. You ideally want maximum root growth to be established on the garlic before the cold weather.

We always have projects on the go until the first frost hits and than we can relax......

Crooked Creek Garden Centre heard about the garlic thief that happened at the Bomanville Liberty Allotment and today we replaced the stolen garlic with a donation of 168 heads of garlic.
