This years market will be held at Heydenshore Pavilion on November 9th, 2024. We just know this year is going to be bigger and better than ever.

Deadline to apply is May 24th. Only successful candidates will be contacted by the Merry Market Committee. Please do not message us on our personal accounts. All questions/communication should be done through our Merry Market accounts.

It’s not goodbye, it’s see ya later…

I have written, deleted, rewritten, changed my mind, gone back and forth at least 100 times but I think I’ve finally decided it is time to take a step back from Splendid. My heart just isn’t in it anymore.

When I sat down this past week to dive in and create for Valentine’s Day, it just didn’t feel right. I LOVE to draw and create however fighting the social algorithms to SELL, is just no longer fun. I promised myself when it stopped being fun, it was time to let it go. Will I be back some day? Maybe, but for now it’s See Ya Later!

This little business has brought me so much joy over the past (almost) 10 years. From where I started, making custom prints, to many years of making invitations for your special events and to now, a full blown greeting card shop! The thing that has brought me the most joy through it all is the amazing friendships that I’ve made with both customers and fellow business owners alike. This handmade community is truly special and I am so proud to have been a little part of it for so many years.

With that being said, my online store will close on February 29th, 2024. You can make purchases to stock up on all your favourites until then. I will also be making an album in the next few weeks with some supplies I’ll be offloading. Things like paper, and other goods I will no longer be needing.

I cannot thank you all enough for the amazing support you have ALWAYS shown me. It has meant everything to me and my family. Because of you I was able to be home with my babies during their preschool years and that is precious time that I will cherish forever.

Happy New Year friends! I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season and are starting to get back into routine after all the holiday fun.

I will hopefully be working on a few new cute Valentine’s Day designs this week. So keep an eye out on this page to see what I come up with! For now I am sharing this old fave to get you in the mood!

This event is for makers only. All makers.

Ornament exchange: You need to bring one ornament gift wrapped for our Secret Santa style gift exchange. Ornaments must be handmade, by you or another maker. In past years we have seen some absolutely incredible ornaments. We can't wait to see this years! Only gift quality ornaments please.

We'll provide some bevies. One of which will be a complimentary festive fancy drink. Additional drinks will be $2.

We'll also have water, hot chocolate, and snacks for you to enjoy. Of course, you're welcome to bring your own traveller drinks too.

This year our get together will take place in our beautiful boutique.
