Yesterday was my beautiful Mom's birthday, she would have been 62 if she was here. My sweet little bro and I went to the cemetery and spent the day there planting flowers for my Mom that I wish I could have be able to give her and see her beautiful face again. The first Monarch of the year that both me and my brother have seen flew by us at the cemetery yesterday. Which meant so much to me because when I see butterflies I always think it's my Mom. I thought it was so beautiful, like Mom was with us, visiting us at the cemetery in the form of a Monarch, it had deep meaning because of the importance of the day. I always make a cake for my Mom each year, even now, it was so hard this year to do. I did though and I'm glad I did, it makes me feel like I'm honouring her, she loved baking and her recipe makes me feel like I'm connecting with her. I know that I'm not alone in these feelings of honouring our loved ones on these important days, while having all these feelings come up. It saddens Mama & Me Artisan Boutique to announce that the Owner was unable to renew the lease due to repairs and renovations being done on the building. Due to this fact Mama & Me Artisan Boutique has permanently closed. Crystal McMaster and her 30+ incredibly talented Artists would like to thank our valued customers that supported us along the way. Mama & Me Artisan Boutique was created to honour my beautiful Mommy who passed away 14 months ago from breast cancer at the young age of 59. She was the best Mommy in the whole wide world and the kindest most gentlest person I have ever had the honour of knowing. I aspire to be more like her in every way and I miss her each and every day. The boutique was built on the foundations of promoting art, creativity, love and kindness. We always stuck to these values and in this respect we achieved our mission. Though this is sad, we are reminded during these difficult times that health is truly what is most important. We recognize the hardship this places on all local businesses and our hearts go out to them. Sending everyone hugs and blessings for a beautiful tomorrow.
