Ever heard of short-order poetry?

It’s a form of street art where a poet takes a few words, a story, a memory, a person—or even a completely random idea—and turns it into an original poem right before your eyes. 📝✨

It’s become a beloved interactive art experience in cities, markets and festivals across North America, and we’re thrilled to have Gareth from Street Verses bringing it back to Lolly Gags!

Give Gareth a prompt and watch him turn it into poetry. Want a poem about your partner? Your dog? Your business? Your best friend? A weird experience you had? Or just give him three completely unrelated words and see what happens. 😂

We were lucky enough to be gifted our own poem, “Lolly Gags,” and we can tell you firsthand—Gareth is seriously talented.

And because it’s by donation, this little creative experience is accessible to everyone. ❤️
