Beyond the Blue Box would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Nigel Husing for organizing a very special fundraising concert in support of our rebuild!
Join us on October 22, 2026, at the Masonic Temple, 54 Toronto Road, Port Hope, for a fantastic evening of music featuring Garry Wesley as Elvis Presley, along with Keith Kirkpatrick performing a special tribute to the legendary Gordon Lightfoot.
We are extremely grateful to Nigel for choosing to support Beyond the Blue Box and for putting his time and effort into bringing this special evening together.
As we continue rebuilding Beyond the Blue Box following the devastating fire that destroyed our main building, community support like this means more to us than we can say. Every fundraiser brings us another step closer to opening the doors of our new facility and continuing the work we have done in our community for more than 30 years.

Celebrating Our 2026 Scholarship Recipients 🎓💙
Today was a very special day at Beyond the Blue Box, as we had the pleasure of presenting our 2026 scholarships to three remarkable young people.
Katia Legakis and Brodie Johnson were each presented with the Syd Chatwood Memorial Scholarship for Inclusion, while Megan Stokes received the Beyond the Blue Box Environmental Scholarship.
We know that Syd Chatwood would have been absolutely overjoyed with the individuals chosen to receive the scholarships that carry his name. Syd believed deeply in people, inclusion, opportunity, and the importance of giving everyone the chance to reach their full potential. Katia and Brodie are wonderful representatives of those values, and we could not be more pleased to honour Syd's memory through them.
We are equally proud to recognize Megan with our Environmental Scholarship. Caring for our environment and encouraging the next generation to continue that work is at the very heart of what Beyond the Blue Box has stood for throughout our history.
At Beyond the Blue Box, we are incredibly proud to be able to contribute to the education and futures of these three deserving recipients. Supporting young people as they take their next steps is an investment not only in their futures, but in the future of our entire community.
Congratulations, Katia, Brodie and Megan! We wish you every success as you continue your education and pursue your dreams. We are very proud to have you as our 2026 Beyond the Blue Box Scholarship recipients. 💙🎓
