One of my favourite moments from emceeing the Imagine Gala Spotlight Events for SHARE Family & Community Services SHARE Society happened off stage.

During our live auction and open mic, Cathy Cena spotted the beautiful permanent jewelry from Luna & Boo Permanent Jewellery ⚡️ and suggested we go get ours done. I laughed and told her I couldn’t do it until I shared the experience with my daughter first.

Well, this week we did just that.

To celebrate Shelina’s elementary school graduation, we chose matching permanent bracelets—a simple piece of jewelry that now carries a lifetime of memories. As parents, we know it’s never really about the bracelet; it’s about marking a milestone, celebrating growth, and creating moments we’ll treasure forever.

Thank you to Luna & Boo for creating such a beautiful experience and helping us commemorate this special chapter together.

And Cathy… now that I’ve kept my promise to do it with my daughter first, I think it’s time we book those summer anklets! ☀️✨
