Stay-at-home baker mom that started a clothing line while on my second mat-leave. Inspired by nearly a decade in custom baking & event planning and my first loves (food & clothing.) My goal is for fun, affordable, on trend, comfortable & locally made apparel. All of the clothing

I sell has been tried & tested by myself and my children for durability & comfort, as I can't sell things that don't allow the freedom of play for my kids & survive the washing machine :) I also host a local shopping event called the Local Love Pop Up Market, in an effort to bring the high quality shop small experience to the Tri-Cities. In 2017 & going forward, The Sweet Life Apparel will be working to give back, with a portion of sales going towards the Share Family & Community Services Food Bank here in the Tri-Cities!

Happy Birthday to my incredible husband, Mr. Sweet Life💙 He’s our resident Sherpa🎒, lumberjack🪵, map 🗺️ reader, camp leader⛺️, and handyman that can fix & build anything🛠️. He’s an intensely devoted father, husband, and hardworking man of the utmost character and moral compass. We are so lucky to have you. Cheers to 49yrs of Mike’s amazing adventures & many, many more 💙

The last 11yrs sure have been a wild ride & I’m still not sure if I made the right decision😆. Can’t believe this small business started as a creative outlet & a way to *hopefully* make some extra money. While I don’t really recommend starting a business while on mat leave with an 8mos old & 3.5yr old🥴, I am so grateful for this journey. Thank you all for being here ❤️

I was convinced that bodycon dresses just weren’t for me….
Not because they didn’t fit.
Because you could see the outline of my belly in them.
Maybe it’s being in my 40s, maybe it’s decades of unlearning diet culture from the 90s & 00s, but I’m not trying to hide myself anymore & it feels great.
Turns out the dress was never the problem, societal beauty standards were. So glad I have finally unsubscribed from those.🙅🏻‍♀️
Wear the dress.
Wear the swimsuit.
Get in the photo.
Take up space
Confidence is always the best look❤️
