Best Coast Market returns September 12, and we’re getting ready to fill the Corner Brook Civic Centre with some of the very best local shopping Newfoundland and Labrador has to offer.

There will be familiar favourites. There will be new faces. There will be things you’ve had your eye on and things you had absolutely no intention of buying until you saw them.

And really, that’s half the fun.

When you spend the day at Best Coast Market, you are doing more than shopping small.

You are supporting local artists, makers, and small businesses. You are helping keep money in our community. And you are also helping support people who need it most.

Since October 2021, Best Coast Market has contributed more than $17,400 to The Food Bank Network of the Bay of Islands Ministerial Association, Inc.

This Saturday, $1 from every admission will once again be donated back into our community.

• Saltwater Press — Hand-drawn magnets and custom memory magnets made on site

• Becky Maher Art — Greeting cards and prints inspired by Newfoundland scenes and colours

• Purple Butterfly Paper — Leather handstitched journals, handmade notebooks, bookmarks, and moosehide journals

• Stained glass by the sea — Stained glass pieces made with copper foil, solder, zinc, and vintage snowshoe frames

• Tiny Tides Studio — Hand-painted bookmarks, keychains, earrings, and small abstract canvases

• Kove Artistry — Framed seaglass artwork, ornaments, greeting cards, wine charms, and more
