🌻When words are hard to find,
flowers arrive.

Carrying love from far away,
a beautiful reminder
that even in sorrow,
you are held in someone’s heart.

It is our honour
to help that love find its way to you.

Before it smelled like cinnamon buns, 31 West St. was The Orchid Flower Studio , Gloria's flower shop. So when she walked in with this bouquet and a card that said "Congratulations and Welcome Home," we got a little misty. (We're blaming the onions. There are no onions.)

Thank you, Gloria. The sunflowers are getting more compliments than our pastries right now, and honestly? Fair.

The space went from blooms to buns, but it's still full of love. We'll do our best to keep it that way. 🌻

📣You guys! ⭐️ The Orchid Flower Studio is a top three finalist for the Rising Star Business Excellence Award! Thank you to the Greater Corner Brook Board of Trade and to everyone who took time to vote.

We’d also like to shoutout our fellow neighbour up here in The Heights Samuel's Sammiches and Sweets and to The Andrew Jesso Foundation on sharing the space with us.

To even be nominated is a complete and total honour. As small business owners we can be extremely future focused and forget to take time to savour our accomplishments… I hope that all of you take time to take notice of your successes, your lessons and acknowledge how far you’ve come. 🌸

See you at the Awards Night on October 22!
