A New Chapter for Good Buddy Sports!
Good Day Everyone,
The Western Group of Companies - NL is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Good Buddy Sports, a business that has been a cornerstone of the community in Corner Brook for nearly 40 years. What began in the 1980s as a small fireworks supply company has grown into a diverse and trusted retailer, offering everything from fishing and dart supplies to outdoor gear and fireworks. Through decades of dedication, Good Buddy Sports has built an outstanding reputation for quality products, exceptional service, and deep community connections.
We are excited to share that Good Buddy Sports will now call Long Range Outdoors its new home. In the coming days, we will be relocating the business to 22 Confederation Drive, inside our newly renovated facility. This move represents not just a change in location, but a continuation of the legacy that Good Buddy Sports has built over the years. With a shared passion for serving the community, Long Range Outdoors is committed to preserving the values and high standards that have made Good Buddy Sports a household name.
Curtis Benoit will join the Long Range Outdoors team as our Outside Sales Representative.
Garry extends his thanks to the customers and friends he's made over many years in business and looks forward to enjoying his retirement. We wish him all the best and we're grateful to have been entrusted with carrying on the legacy of Good Buddy Sports.
We look forward to embarking on this next chapter and continuing to provide a top-quality sporting goods experience.
As we move, we thank you for your patience as we go through the process of counting our inventory and relocating.
Sincerely,
Michelle Melendy
