We are looking for a reliable, organized, and hardworking team member to help keep our card shop clean, organized, and running smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sports cards and TCGs and takes pride in maintaining a welcoming retail environment. Card knowledge is helpful, but the primary focus is store maintenance, restocking, sorting cards, inventory, and POS operation.
Responsibilities
-Keep the shop clean, organized, and presentable.
-Clean display cases, shelves, counters, floors, and work areas.
-Restock shelves, displays, and retail products.
-Sort and organize sports cards and trading cards.
-Organize incoming inventory and prepare products for sale.
-Accurately operate the POS for purchases, returns, and transactions.
-Responsibly handle cash and debit/credit payments.
-Assist customers with basic questions and direct detailed card questions to other staff.
-Maintain organized and accurate inventory.
-Receive shipments and put away new inventory.
-Assist with general day-to-day shop tasks.
Qualifications
Required:
-Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Comfortable with cleaning, stocking, and repetitive sorting tasks.
-Friendly attitude and good customer service skills.
-Able to learn and use a POS system.
-Able to work independently and stay productive.
-Comfortable safely handling valuable merchandise.
Preferred:
-Familiarity with sports cards and TCGs.
-Retail, customer service, inventory, card shop, or POS experience.
Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and proud of keeping things organized. You don't need to be an expert on every type of card, but an interest in sports cards and/or TCGs is a plus.
