MOMAR (mind over mountain adventure race) marks the end of our season with a splash. We support 45 MOMAR teams with kayaks and paddles at Comox Lake on September 19th.

Last night was a great evening of learning at Comox Valley Kayaks with Sarah Rosen.

Sarah comes from a family lineage of kayak guides and a background in oceanography. She brought a wonderful blend of experience and knowledge to the evening. We explored marine weather, wind, clouds and marine charts. Sarah taught everyone how to build a better understanding of what they are seeing out on the water and in the sky.

A big thank you to Sarah for sharing her knowledge and making the subject so accessible!

Our next Ocean Theory session is Thursday the 17th, on the topics of tides and we still have a few spots available.
