From the way Kai moved so effortlessly on the water with his easy smile, to the huge extended paddling family he grew around the world, and the exceptional outrigger canoes and surfskis he brought to life, his influence will be felt for generations.

To Kealani, Kaiakea, Keliana, Lea, Tom and Mary - there are no words to capture how deeply our hearts ache for your loss. Our thoughts are with you.

We’re deeply grateful for the way Kai shared his passion, lifted others, and helped create the community we’re so lucky to be part of today. Kai will be deeply missed, and never forgotten. 💙
