Well, it certainly took a while for a number of logistical reasons, but the first load of many has been shipped off to our pals at the The Canadian Comic Bin.

All I can say, is that you’d better keep your eyes peeled on their new release section, as it is going to be unbelievable.

Garage is emptying so I can start……. buying again? 🤔

I’ll have to run that one up the flagpole for Yvonne Tinney……

It’s been a minute friends. As you know we’ve slowed down a wee bit from the day to day insanity of selling comics. Oddly, I’m discovering there are other things to do in life besides price comics! I’m enjoying keeping my fingers in the hobby though.

A CGC shipment arrived today of a number of books signed at the Calgary Expo in April. Pleased with most - that Brett Bean sketch is spectacular; the Sun Khamunaki books are 🔥- but a couple of books I’m definitely shaking my head. The Hobbit signed by all four Hobbits was 95% 9.8/5% 9.9 - the 9.2 is inexcusable. The 7.0 on the Star Trek 1 is bewildering; it was a minimum 9.4 when it was sent off.

Oh well - we all know that once they’re out of our hands anything is possible. Thanks to Neil from the CCB for facilitating these for me.

We were very happy to support our nephews North and Rain in attending the 2026 BMX World Racing Championships in Brisbane, Australia (seems it was good enough to get our logo plastered on their jersey).

They compete at 5 pm today, so very excited.

In fact, North dislocated his hip a couple of weeks back in training, and that still hasn’t stopped him from competing today! Being a very fit 19 year will enable that it seems.

Win lose or draw we are so very proud of them both.

Don’t be fooled by the one table set up - it’s worth dropping by this weekend as there’s some gold in this lot; GOLD I say.
