Heading to our next market this weekend. We will be at Victoria (YYJ) Car Free on Sunday June 16th from 11 - 6. I don’t know yet where our booth will be but will update once they’ve let me know. This is our first BIG event so we’re excited to hear what everyone thinks about our beads, crystals, geodes, spheres, obelisks, points. We plan to have a special kid friendly section that they can afford but also where they can touch everything. We’ll have arrow heads, hematite balls, small geodes to take home & crack open, bismuth And lots of mineral samples, of course. Weather looks like it’s going to be perfect - hope to see you there.

BEADSBEADSBEADS!!! Went through all my beads last night. Waaaaaay too many to ever use so I am happy to sell some to other beading enthusiasts. I will take them to the Swap & Shop starting May 20th or let me know if there’s something you’re after. Findings, stringing supplies, and thousands of strands of semi-precious stones.

Completed my first day at the Victoria Swap & Shop. What a gorgeous day to kick things off for the new version of Island Inspirations. Met lots of great people who were very complimentary on everything. I’m hoping they tell all their friends and it just gets better and better. Sorry but the pictures didn’t turn out very well.

Started unpacking everything. It was a lot of fun buying it but it’s almost as exciting opening it all up again. Soooo many fun things! Hopefully everyone else likes it too! Forgot all about several items. If you see anything you like, let me know. Planning our first day at the Victoria Swap Meet Sunday May 13th. Hope to see you there. Will post more pictures soon.

Sadly Island Inspirations closed its shop doors in Cowichan Bay. So it’s time to re-invent itself. Effective May 2018 Island Inspirations will carry embroidered handbags, tie dye tshirts & hobo bags, fair trade baskets and purses (supporting African women), semi-precious jewellery, hand blown glass bowls, semi-precious bead strands, and so much more. Pictures to follow when I get it all unpacked. Storefront to be found but I will attend the Victoria Swap Meet on Sundays starting later in May. Details to follow....
