This year marks 20 years since I first opened the doors to my creative company (formerly Scrapbookin' Adventures). I have been creating, teaching, sharing stories and making memories with you all for a very long time — and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with one very special day during my most favorite season, CHRISTMAS !!

Join me for SIMPLY CHRISTMAS, a full-day creative event featuring 20 festive projects, plenty of Christmas inspiration, treats, surprises, and most importantly, time spent making pretty things together !

DATE: SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2026
TIME: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Throughout the day we’ll work our way through 20 Christmas projects:

• A Christmas Scrapbook (4) Layout Workshop (Product Included)
• A Christmas Edition of my (5) Layout Use Your Own Product (UYOP) Layout Workshop (Kit Instructions Included. NO product given for this workshop)
• A Christmas (10) Card Workshop (Product Included)
• A Holiday Themed Painted Home Decor Project (Product Included)
• AND ... a few Special 20th Anniversary touches along the way !!

Your registration includes the supplies / product provided for the noted workshops above, all day Instruction to complete your projects and a few surprises throughout the day !

As always, my workshops are designed to give you lots of ideas and inspiration, while still leaving room to make everything your own.

If you've never taken a layout class with me, this is an example of a layout you'll learn to recreate for your own scrapbook !!

I was SO excited to plant our garden this year !! We made SO many changes and I have absolutely loved being in it every day !!

Apparently I couldn’t even wait long enough to get properly dressed on this particular day 😂 Pajamas, short boots and fuzzy cat socks 🐈‍⬛🤣

I have always loved scrapbooking these kinds of everyday moments ... not just the big milestones ... the little things that tell the story of what life looked like right then 💛

I already know it’s going to be so fun to look back through these pages over the years and see how much the garden has changed and grown ... and laugh at what I was wearing while I grew it 😂

This Fall (September 6th to be exact), marks 20 YEARS of Jennifer Edwardson Creative Inc. (formerly Scrapbookin' Adventures) ... so many pieces of paper, more embellishments that I could ever count, hundreds of workshops, so much laughter ... but most importantly thousands of photos and stories documented and preserved for future generations to love 💛

To help celebrate this milestone I am excited to introduce my newest event, SIMPLY CHRISTMAS ... a full-day of crafting built around one very fun idea ...

IT IS COMING ALONG 🤩

This wall has been a work in progress for a while now and I am finally LOVING where it’s headed 🙌🏻

These new shelves have made such a huge difference — getting supplies UP and off my work surfaces, giving so many of my favorite things a place to live, while still keeping all that colour and creativity out where I can see it 😃
.. and how about the cassette wallpaper ?! Still one of my most favourite decisions for my studio !! It brings in that little bit of retro 80s nostalgia that makes the whole space feel so much more like ME 📼

There are still baskets to fill, supplies to sort and things that will definitely get moved around as I figure out what works best as i create ... because let's be honest, craft studio organization is never actually finished ... it's just a continual work in progress 😂

I’m sure this wall will look different in a week, and again next month ... but for me that is part of the fun of it all !! I want this space to keep evolving with me and the way I craft 😍

In this moment, I’m just really happy with this colourful, organized, slightly nostalgic little corner of my favourite space in our home 💛

DISNEYLAND ... there is something extra special about documenting a place that holds so many chapters of our life !!

This has been one of my favourite places for as long as I can remember. We’ve been lucky enough to visit many times over the years and we even celebrated my 40th birthday there ... so the only logical thing to do was go back and celebrate my 50th there too 🤩

This trip was even more special because we got to spend it with our now-adult kiddos ... it was SO fun to go back to a place they loved when they were little and realizing that the magic is still there—it just looks a little different now !!
.. THIS is why I scrapbook 🥹

I love telling the stories that go with the photos. The little details. The traditions. The things that made us laugh. The places we keep going back to ... all of it is so special to me (and my family) !!

I love watching our kids (and hopefully one day, our grandkids) flip through these albums and see how much fun we had together, how much we loved an adventure ... and just how much Disney has always been part of our family story !!

Disneyland. My favourite people. Definitely a story worth keeping ✨🏰❤️

MY FAVE PAPER WALL

I know paper collections neatly organized on a wall probably isn't everyone’s idea of decorating ... but it sure is one of mine 💛

Maybe it’s because I grew up in the ’80s, when it felt like every colour was brighter, every craft supply was magical, and there was something SO exciting about opening a brand new package of paper ... that feeling has never really left me 🥹

This wall in my studio is more than organization. It’s inspiration. It’s happiness. It’s a daily reminder that I’m continuing to create a space filled with the things I love ... because they make me feel creative every time I walk into this space 💛

This was an important step in my summer studio refresh, and I am excited that there are plenty more happy little changes to come ... for now, I’ll just be over here admiring my paper wall like it’s a piece of fine art 🤣

BE THE STORYTELLER

I’ve always believed that photos capture a moment, but stories capture a life.

This layout is about ours newest kitten, Audrey, and while I am obsessed with the photos, it’s the journaling that means the most to me ... long, detailed version !!

One day, these pics will show what she looked like when she first came to our family, but the words will tell the story of how she became an Edwardson 🥹

Over the last more than 20 years i have put A LOT of photos on paper ... and I’ve realized that memory keeping isn’t really about paper, supplies, albums, or even photos ... it is truly being the storyteller for my family !

It’s about capturing the moments that otherwise would be forgotten in time ... the days that become extraordinary memories ... and the little details we think we’ll never forget, but somehow do ... unless we WRITE THEM DOWN !!

THE BEST THING ?! ... is that storytelling doesn’t require a 12x12 scrapbook page ... It can live in a traveller’s notebook, a pocket page album, a mini album, a journal, a recipe card, a collection of handwritten notes, or anywhere else that feels right to you !!

There is no wrong way to preserve a story. What matters most is that you just do it ... because generations from now, someone may hold those pages in their hands and see the photos, but through your words, they’ll hear your voice and that is where the magic happens !!

They’ll know what mattered to you.

They’ll know who you loved.

They’ll know what life looked like in every season ... and for me, that’s the biggest gift of memory keeping ... not just preserving pictures, but preserving stories too 💛

OK ... these shoes 100% look like they were designed by someone who scrapbooks ... am i right 😂

They literally jumped out of the shop window at me and immediately i thought they looked like a perfectly layered embellishment cluster ... i mean come on !! All i see is glitter cardstock, ribbon, enamel dots, dimension, texture ... AND a bird 🐦🎨

Honestly, if a scrapbook layout and a fashion designer had a baby ... this stunning pair of shoes would be it 😜

The colors are fabulous in the best possible way ... and you know how much I love color ... these babies are the main event, the title on the page. They are possibly perfection 🤩
.. how about those sparkle heels ?! They basically belong in my craft studio beside my patterned paper and fave glitter washi tape 🤣

Creativity shows up in every part of my life ... and apparently even in my shoe choices now !!

Tell me I’m not the only scrapbooker who looks at things and immediately thinks, “well THAT would make a great layout.” 😂

ALSO ... YES they are actually comfortable !!!!!!!!!! They'll be making their public debut at an incredible charity gala I'm attending next weekend ... get ready to see these birds on the dance floor 🤩🙌🏻💛

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, these (2) are worth so much more than that to me ...

The photos were both taken by fellow crafters in workshops I was teaching ... they were captured (16) months and a little more than (60) lbs apart.

My health journey has been complex and is worth sharing ... follow along as I document this transformative time in my life (and health) through creative storytelling and scrapbooking !!

FUN FACT: the layout that I am sharing in the 2nd photo is all about the event I was teaching at in the first photo 🥹
