So, if you have ever been present as I suddenly get some esoteric bubbling up from memory, it is quite likely from this book.
It was in the high school library, and I read it in segments during lunch (because I was worried what my mom would say if I brought it home (sorry mom! 💚). Written in the 70's this is surprisingly in depth, and sure, some parts are a little is out of date, but it also has a wide variety to give a taste and neutral description of many paths.

Pamela Colman Smith.
For decades her most significant art went uncredited. Her name lost, erased. The most popular Tarot deck sold; The Rider-Waite should have rightfully been named the Rider-Smith-Waite, with her getting properly compensated for her contribution as the artist of the while deck... but the gains she could have recieved were attributed to the men who took advantage of her.
Recent years have woken up and discovered the travesty, and the internet is a grand place for fast share of info like this.
This beautifully illustrated hardcover, is a treasure for any Library, and a beautiful resource on an artist that deserves to be celebrated.

So, I got this book in, direct from publisher, partly because the publisher themselves uses the silhouette of one of her cards as their logo, themselves capitalizing on her art. I guess I felt like them specifically releasing this book is a big step in acknowlement and perhaps, dare I say, repair?

A little practical magic from a local Chaos Witch.

Listen, I've been there- Sometimes we don't have time to f*** around, and need that emergency flash-in-the-pan to address *a thing*. This one is pulled from my personal toolbelt:
Very versatile, choose the colour YOU most associate with what you need, open, follow instructions, and you are good to go.
Has all the pieces needed (except a lighter; sorry...) for a very basic candle based spell. Easy chant for times when even words feel hard to grasp.

*Candle SHOULD be finished in 15 minutes-ish, and is not dripless, so please plan accordingly.
Packaged in resealable plastic bag, so you can keep an extra on hand for future emergencies too ✨️

**Not meant for all the time use, there are way deeper, longer lasting ways to craft a spell, but this has all the basic elements to get you through a pinch.
