Father's Day is just around the corner, and it feels like a good time to pause and appreciate the people who helped shape us.

Not every father figure comes with the title "Dad." Sometimes it's a grandfather, stepdad, uncle, mentor, friend, or someone who simply showed up when it mattered most.

The world can be noisy, but the lessons that stay with us are often the quiet ones:
Work hard.
Be kind.
Keep your word.
Help others when you can.

Get back up when life knocks you down.
