Today marks ONE YEAR since Jeff and Nicole took over Big Bear’s Liquor Den, and what an incredible year it’s been!

From day one, your support, friendly faces, and loyalty have meant the world to us. Whether you’ve stopped in for your go-to bottle, discovered something new at our tasting bar, or simply popped by for a chat, you’ve helped make this first year one we’ll never forget.

A huge congratulations to Jeff and Nicole on reaching this exciting milestone! Your passion, hard work, and commitment to creating a welcoming, small-town liquor store have truly made a difference.

To our amazing customers, thank you for choosing to shop local and for supporting our family-owned business. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without you.

🎬 Retail Wildlife Documentary - Episode 27: The Elusive Box Kicker

Today’s majestic creature entered the store, browsed peacefully, and then…

📦 THUD.

A product hit the floor.
The box exploded open.
Time stood still.

The specimen observed the damage.

Its mate also observed the damage.

A brief telepathic conversation appeared to take place…

👀 “You gonna pick that up?”
👀 “Absolutely not.”

Then, with the precision of Lionel Messi in the World Cup finals…

The broken box was carefully relocated three inches to the side where, scientifically speaking, it became someone else’s problem.

Here’s the funny part: We don’t even have a “you break it, you buy it” policy. Accidents happen! Just let one of us know so we’re not playing Retail Easter Egg Hunt an hour later.

P.S. To everyone who tells us when they accidentally break something, you are the real MVPs. We appreciate you more than you know. ❤️

Our store phone has apparently decided it’s had enough of answering calls and has gone on an adventure. It was last seen heading north on Railway Street, looking like it knew exactly where it was going… we suspect it didn’t. 🤷‍♀️📞

There’s a good chance it wandered into some bushes for a little nap. 🌳🍻

If you happen to spot this runaway, please return it to Big Bear’s Liquor Den or any Big Bear staff member, no questions asked!
