Meet your Maker ❤️
Hi! 👋🏻 I am Susan, aka The Bear 🐻 Whisperer.
I have been married to my husband for 33 years and we have been together for 40 years! We have three children - 2 daughters and a son and one adorable granddaughter. We also have a 24 year old turtle 🐢 named Franklin and a 10 year old chocolate cocker spaniel named Charlee. 🐶

A few personal things about me:
1. I am a retired school teacher after 33.5 years.
2. I have been crocheting 🧶 since I was 9 years old.
3. I feel blessed to be able to sew memory bears 🐻 and pillows for you.
4. I am a Jesus follower and was baptized when I was 21.
5. I have a collection of over one million bread tags in memory of a former student. 💔
6. My mother-in-law is one my favourite people in the world.
7. Florida’s white sand beaches are my heaven on earth.
8. I am an avid gardener 🌺& have over 50 gardens around my home.
9. My favorite animal is a giraffe 🦒
10. I think my province (New Brunswick) is one of the most beautiful places on earth 🌎.

I’m often asked if I make blankets from clothing and most often I don’t. 😉 But I’ve been working with this sweet client all summer to create numerous special memories from her much missed and loved husband’s clothing. She gifted these two blankets to her beautiful daughters so they can feel a hug 🤗 from their dad one more time. Made with T-shirts holding special memories. Both are backed with soft navy fleece. Made with care for daddy‘s girls. ❤️
