Memory Bears and Pillows By Bloomin’ at the Bay Bloomin’ at the Bay creates handcrafted memory keepsakes with care, respect, and love. Memory bears and pillows are a special keepsake.

I am a Christian, wife, mother, and grandmother living on beautiful Grand Lake, NB. Each keepsake is thoughtfully made to honour life’s most meaningful moments. ❤️ They are not intended for extended or rough play, especially by young children. The bears contain small parts for eyes and nose and as a result, these parts may come loose and pose a choking hazzard. Babies and young children should be supervised when with the bears.

My little, and I truly mean LITTLE embroidery machine has served me well over a few years that I’ve had it. My biggest complaint is that it only comes with a few fonts, and none of them are small enough to get as many letters as my clients would like inside the hearts. If I could just find time to teach myself how to use the new machine, maybe that would change.🤷‍♀️ the struggle is real!

Meet your Maker ❤️
Hi! 👋🏻 I am Susan, aka The Bear 🐻 Whisperer.
I have been married to my husband for 33 years and we have been together for 40 years! We have three children - 2 daughters and a son and one adorable granddaughter. We also have a 24 year old turtle 🐢 named Franklin and a 10 year old chocolate cocker spaniel named Charlee. 🐶

A few personal things about me:
1. I am a retired school teacher after 33.5 years.
2. I have been crocheting 🧶 since I was 9 years old.
3. I feel blessed to be able to sew memory bears 🐻 and pillows for you.
4. I am a Jesus follower and was baptized when I was 21.
5. I have a collection of over one million bread tags in memory of a former student. 💔
6. My mother-in-law is one my favourite people in the world.
7. Florida’s white sand beaches are my heaven on earth.
8. I am an avid gardener 🌺& have over 50 gardens around my home.
9. My favorite animal is a giraffe 🦒
10. I think my province (New Brunswick) is one of the most beautiful places on earth 🌎.
