Yesterday, I made 20 BRAND NEW tiebacks for you guys (ALL adjustable with a simple little knot trick)!

I've made them affordable at just $10 each, including shipping within Canada only (sorry, I'm not shipping to the US).

For YEARS I offered this easy crochet pumpkin hat pattern with newborn instructions only.

But, all that has changed: this pattern now includes sizes newborn to one year for your convenience!

Create a newborn pumpkin hat for your newborn photo session and when baby comes back for their one year session you could recreate the initial set up with a larger hat.

How cool is that?

This pattern continues to be one of my most popular Halloween crochets (along with the crochet candy corn stuffie).

I love creating these crocheted tiebacks and think they look amazing not just on newborn babies but sitters, too!

And, I'll let you in on a secret: there've even been a few times I've worn them myself in my own hair and got compliments as lots find them to be different, a little eccentric and definitely artsy hippie worn on an adult)! 💗

No cookie cutter accessories for me, ahahaha (well, except for my FitBit cause you know: and all that).

Yes, I'm already deep into designing, promoting and sharing fall and Halloween photo prop stuff. 🎃

Truth is, when you're a prop vendor the planning for seasonal makes (or a photographer planning their upcoming seasonal sessions) starts months before everyone else even has an inkling of a thought.

Am I right?

Currently, I've got some DK weight designs on the needles - a combination sleepy hat / Santa hat that you've been asking for first; next will be a strawberry hat, and finally a pumpkin hat.

*WANTED: a few knitting photographers and vendors who might be interested in collaborating with me by testing my patterns, sharing WIPs and in use images on socials, and allowing me to reshare. Could that be you? DM for more information.

One of my favourite stitches is this faux cable stitch that I first discovered way back in like 2014 or somewhere around then in 's 'Dream Cables' bonnet.

It's got such incredibly interesting texture, photographs beautifully, and although it looks complicated it's just a 4 row repeat and is relatively simple.

Years ago I incorporated the stitch into a pumpkin beanie and then last year I turned it into this fun, seasonal pumpkin stuffie trio.
