Save the date! Anjana from The Spiny Crafts| Halifax Artisan is a Halifax artist who is originally from Nepal and she will be joining us in store for a fundraiser on October 3. She will have some of her felt creations and wool products, including hats and scarves, from Nepal.

If you are a local artist who can contribute an item for the sale (seconds and older stock is very welcome), please send us a message or drop it off by Sept 29th.

The items in the fundraiser will be sold on a Pay What You Can basis and cash/etransfer will be accepted.

We hope you will pop by and help us raise funds for the Nepal Government Relief Fund. πŸ‡³πŸ‡΅ ❀️

So excited to share our Community Candle with you!

Our friends at SEL DE MER have created a custom candle for us that is inspired by a question we get asked all the time, β€œwhat smells so good in here?” They spent so much time creating this scent. We hope you love it!

SEL DE MER is also partnering with our community giving, so a total of $3 from the sale of each candle will be shared with local mutual aid requests and non-profit community partners. For this initial launch, we will split the contributions between Mutual Aid Mi’kma’ki and Alice House πŸ’›

The candle will be on our shelves and website this afternoon! πŸͺΏ πŸ•―οΈ πŸ’•
