I've listed the updated, reworked, teddy bear kimono in my Etsy shop. Here, finally, are the photos of my customer's custom teddy bear kimono for her classroom bear. She supplied the fabrics, and they worked out beautifully. I love the little bow on the obi!

A local teacher reached out to me last week - she likes the teddy bear bathrobes in my Etsy shop, and wondered if I'd be interested in making a kimono for her classroom Bear. So I did a bunch of research and designed a pattern. Here's my first prototype. I think it needs a hair (ear?) bow for added interest, and the obi will have a bow on the back.

I hope everybody had a fabulous holiday. Here we had a very busy week, with family dinners on Christmas and New Years Days. Good times.
Now it's time to start thinking about Valentine's Day which is just around the corner. I've got some great items for you in the shop. There are beautiful aprons to keep your/her outfit safe and clean, there are little stuffed hearts for hanging on doorknobs, lamps, or maybe as bowl fillers. How about a new bathrobe for her teddy bear? So many possibilities......

Christmas is only 6 months away - time to start thinking about stocking up my etsy shop with Christmas items.

It's been a while since I posted anything here. Lots going on in my life lately - Perry and I got engaged, bought a new house, we are mid-reno on my old house (getting it ready for sale), and now I retired from my day-job, as of tomorrow. I even manage to find a little time for sewing from time to time.
