I had this big mold on my bucket list a while! This is 1971 Arnel’s mold 517 which went viral for being repurposed into a toilet paper dispenser. Filled up she’s probably close to 70lbs, so it’s a workout! Let’s cast and clean it up together AND maybe we’ll add a little flair (and tp) yeeee haaaawwww

We’re so thrilled to share that Best Kind Mud Shop has come on board as the very first sponsor of the Nova Scotia Pottery Market! 🥹🏺

We’re incredibly grateful to have a small business like Best Kind Mud Shop behind this event. Owner Lisa Batten shares the same vision we have for the market: creating opportunities for Nova Scotia potters, showcasing the craft of pottery to the wider community, and encouraging more people to get their hands in some clay.

Lisa runs the only pottery supply store in Nova Scotia, as well as a community studio where you can learn, practice and connect through pottery. And she’ll be joining us at the market!

Best Kind Mud Shop is also providing the clay for our live wheel-throwing demonstrations, where potters will be taking to the wheel on stage throughout the day. We can’t wait for you to see pottery being made right in front of you!
