Bright autumn colours 💚💛🧡
Bright colours, lacy foliage, tropical looking
Tiger Eyes Sumac Ht.4’ Width 4’, 5’ maybe 6’ Sumacs like to wander and explore
In other words they sucker
But they are so showy if you have the space
Zone 3b-4. Needs protection from winter winds
We are open Friday and Saturday this week 12:00-5:00
Then just Saturdays this month September 12, 19 & 26

Got light shade, cool sunshine ….Diervilla aka bush honeysuckle is the perfect shrub
Once established they tolerate poor dry soil
Bees love the clusters of small tubular yellow flowers
Deer resistant
The foliage makes an interesting addition to floral arrangements
We have a few Honey Bee and Nightglow Diervilla

Apple trees, lindens, weeping willows, gladiator and Starlite flowering crabs
Hydrangeas, dogwoods, spirea, elders, smoke bush, diervilla, burning bush and mockorange
Open 12:00-5:00 this Wednesday to Saturday

Moonrock H & W 4’-6’
Pinky Winky Prime H & W 6’-9’
Hydrangeas prefer cool sunshine and consistent moisture
They struggle in reflected drying heat
They will bloom less when planted in deep shade

🍂🍁Autumn is a great time to plant🍁🍂
The soil is warm and the air is cooler
Plants have a month or hopefully two to establish their roots
Our greenhouse will be open 12:00-5:00 Tuesday September 8th through Saturday September 12.
We have a selection of hydrangeas, ninebarks, spireas, apple trees and a few shade trees
Our asters, Joe Pye, yarrow and phlox are in bloom
Our free bark chip mulch pile will also be available

We order our annuals from 10 different wholesale greenhouses
We work with a broker who guides us through the logistics
Our perennials come from 3 sometimes 4 different nurseries
The selection is mind boggling and sometimes overwhelming
What will next spring be like …cold, wet…hot, dry….early or late ?
What will customers want?
What’s it going to cost$$$$ to produce 2027 crop??
Will USA add tariffs?
And you thought we were on holidays ,😂 lol
