Four days of scorching heat, silent elk, and countless miles on the boots… Pro Staff member Cory Leis kept grinding and was rewarded with the bull of a lifetime. 🏹
On Tuesday evening, Cory and his hunting partner set up with a few cow calls when this bull came charging in from a long way off. A couple of soft chirps turned him right back, and when he stepped into range, Cory made it count with his Darton Sequel and Black Eagle arrow tipped with a Sevr Hybrid broadhead.
The hit was perfect. After one last push into the Alberta timber, a strong blood trail led Cory and his partner right to him. Now the real work began — packing him out of a deep valley with the help of his Badlands gear that stood up to every mile.
We’re proud to have Cory representing the Badlands family. Freezer full, mission accomplished, and one unforgettable adventure in the books. 💪
