The time has come to make this formal Facebook post. All monies have been returned to paid vendors, and placement into new shows has happened. I can share with the rest of you.

I have made the difficult decision to cancel the Northern Handmade Market Winter Edition November 14-15th 2025. After much deliberation, conflicting feelings and emotions, I feel that it's is the right call. When I started this market, it was to offer a unique shopping experience and offer a platforms for all our new creators connect with our community.

Fast forward 9 years later and I am proud of how many vendors we have been able to help over the years, how many connections were made through my markets, how many nonprofits we were able to help through all of our donations. How amazing these markets have been!

I'm still offering my pop-up markets at The Mah Building aka Bing's Furniture & Appliances. We still have some spaces available for the 2 markets in November and in December. For more information email

Or pop into Rooted Kitchen 10-6pm Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

I wanted to take a moment to thank Judy, Emily and Alisha from Ovintiv Events Centre for all your years you invested with me.
I huge thank you to Becki Weaver for not only being my side kick for most of my markets, and all the hours you put into planning the Winter Wonderland and making it happen. I love you 😍!
