Nawican programs are available to everyone, Indigenous and Non-Indigenous people, young and young-at-heart. Some of our current programs include:
MENTAL HEALTH & ADDICTIONS
• Counselling via phone, Zoom, or face-to-face
• Treatment program referral
• Redpath Addictions Treatment program
HOT LUNCH
• Monday to Saturday 12:00 to 2:00pm, take-out at the door from the Friendship Centre (1320 - 102 Ave)
EMPLOYMENT, LIFE SKILLS, & TRAINING
• Employment services, life skills workshops, work ticketing, resume support by phone or in-person by appointment
YOUTH PROGRAM
• Drop-in Youth Lounge (coming soon)
• Youth Life skills workshops, empowerment, transitional support, youth council
• School Snack Program
• Day time school support (Tutoring)
WRAP-AROUND CLIENT SUPPORT
• Technology support
• Isolation care packages
• Meal deliveries
• Referral and resources assistance
• Cultural planning & Cultural safety
• Homelessness prevention
• Good Food Boxes
