Can you believe this week's CSA bouquets are filled with ONLY perennials??

A perennial paradise ❤️

The season has been so slow to start this year so the perennials have been the heavy weight champions of every single bouquet so far this year.

This week's bouquets ingredients:

• Lupins
• Peonies
• Iris
• Ivory Halo Dogwood
• Oregano Greenery

Next week we'll have Delphinium, feverfew and Foxgloves to play with -- all perennials.

A little PSA: With the upcoming forcast, I've decided to close the flower stand on Wednesday (tomorrow), Thursday and Friday this week.

I need a bit of a breather to catch up on administrative tasks 🥱

It's been a very controversial week over on our Instagram page.

This is Honey Roasted Baptisia and I think it's an ugly flower.

I've regretted planting it every year for the past 5 years.

I usually let the flowers die and wait until mid-summer to use the (very useful) greenery.

But this year I've been determined to use the flowers. I've tried 2 colour palletes with them. And I have to admit, I don't hate them in these combinations.

I made a poll on Instagram and almost 60% said they loved the Baptisia.

But today at the stand the bouquets with these flowers in them DID NOT sell at all.

So clearly you all have different opinions.

What do you think? Do you love them or hate them?

Over the next couple weeks will be the focal flower at the stand.

Don't be deterred by the unopened bud.

This is exactly how I want them when you buy them, so that they'll open up beautifully for you at home.

The stand is open today (Thursday) till 7pm.

Depending on hard it rain tomorrow (Friday) the stand may or may not be open. Hard rain and winds cause too much damage.

I'll update you all in our stories.

I planted these 3 years ago from seed. I'm finally about to cut stems that are long enough for bouquets.

They were worth the wait though.

This week's bouquets are going to be gooood.

The stand opens for the week on Wed at 11am.
