🎮🔧 Another PS5 Slim brought back to life! 🔧🎮

This PlayStation 5 Slim came in with an HDMI port that had already been replaced once (at another shop). It worked… for a while. Unfortunately, the console eventually lost video again. 😕

After putting it under the microscope, the reason became pretty clear. The original HDMI installation had several weak solder joints that simply didn’t have the strength to withstand normal use. Over time, those connections failed. 🔬

Rather than patching it up, I removed the port, cleaned up every pad, inspected the board for damage, and installed a brand new HDMI connector with solid, properly flowed solder joints. ✅

Now it’s back on the TV where it belongs! 🎉📺

This repair is a good reminder that not all HDMI port replacements are the same. The quality of the soldering matters just as much as the new part itself. A repair that looks “good enough” today can become a no-signal console a few weeks or months down the road.

This iPad 10th Gen came in with a shattered display after a drop. 💥 A brand new screen brought it back to life, looking and functioning like it should again. ✨

One thing worth mentioning: during the repair I found a small crack in the aluminum frame near the impact point. 🔍 Unfortunately, that’s not something that can be repaired on these models without replacing the entire housing. Damage like this often puts extra stress on the glass, making it much more likely to crack from future impacts.

This is exactly why every device gets a thorough inspection—not just a screen swap. ✅ I make sure customers know about any underlying damage so there are no surprises later.

Another Xbox Series X brought back to life today!

This console came in with a physically damaged HDMI port and no display output. After carefully removing the damaged connector under hot air and microsoldering a brand-new HDMI port in its place, it’s back up and running.

These repairs aren’t as simple as swapping a connector. The HDMI pins are incredibly fine, and even a single bad solder joint can mean the difference between a working console and a black screen. Patience, precision, and the right equipment make all the difference.

📱 Another device brought back from the dead 🔧⚡

This Samsung Galaxy A21 came in completely unresponsive — no power, no charging indication, and showing absolutely no signs of life. Customer thought the phone might be finished for good.

After full diagnostics, the issue was traced to a faulty charging daughter board preventing the device from charging or powering on properly.

✔️ Device fully disassembled
✔️ Charging system diagnosed and tested
✔️ Faulty daughter board replaced
✔️ Charging restored and phone brought back to life

Now the A21 is charging normally again and powering up exactly as it should 💪

⚡ Another successful repair completed! ⚡

This iPad 6 came in with a charging issue after something became lodged in the charging port, causing damage and leaving the device unable to charge properly.

After disassembly and repair, the damaged charge port assembly was replaced and the iPad is now charging normally again ✅🔋

A good reminder that even a small obstruction in a charging port can lead to bigger problems if left unchecked.
