"Debra Howard - Quilts by the bay- One Square at a Time" My Quilts Quilting became a passion of mine 18 years ago when I took a quilt class from a good friend of mine, Darlene D'eon.

From that day on I have been addicted to making quilts. I have 3 wonderful children, and a husband who by the way can figure out any mistakes that I make when it comes to piecing quilts together. There has been more than one occasion when he has pulled my designs out of the garbage and pointed out solutions. I started buying quilt-in-a-day books like Log Cabin, Flying Geese, and Lone Stars by Eleanor Burns, now I use those skills to create my own designs.

We’ve decided to do a change in hours on a trial basis. For the next few months, we are opening at 8:30 and closing at four depending on in store traffic ….that could be delayed to 430.  although we are open for a walk-in customers, the phones won’t be answered until 10 AM as per normal. 
PS… these change in hours are to accommodate the St. John ferry, tourists . These hours will change from time to time, so please call ahead if you’re in question on whether we are open or not.
