Built in 1926, the building was originally a dry-storage shed for general merchandise and cold-storage facility known as the Toronto Terminal Warehouse. At the time it was one of the largest buildings in the country. Spring is in full swing at our rooftop apiary on Queens Quay! 🐝🌸
Our bee team recently completed a colony split — an important step that helps keep the hive healthy and thriving as the population grows. With warmer weather and plenty of blooms around the city, the bees are busier than ever.
We’re excited to continue supporting urban pollinators and watching our rooftop community flourish against the Toronto skyline. Stay tuned for more updates from the hive!
