I cannot begin to tell y'all how many calls, texts, emails and other messages I get every single week with people's condolences on the death of the museum. Dear friends, WE ARE NOT CLOSING FOREVER. We need a new building.
We are not giving away or selling the displays (thats not how museums operate a anyway...they would need to be offered to other museums first...then down the line of a nonprofit ladder.)
Due to the current buildings status however, we do have to alter our regular hours. The building us not going to fall down *promise*, but it can get uncomfortable for staff. If you have been to the museum in these past few years, you know...you know. I will give an update on this very soon. Right now, we will happily welcome visitors 11am-4pm SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS.
